Kluane National Park on Bing homepage today…

Today’s Bing.com US homepage shows Kluane National Park in the Yukon Territory, a name that brings back bittersweet memories. If you click on one of the “hot spots” of the page, it links to a map of Kluane Lake. I rode past it two years ago on the Alaskan Highway heading towards Anchorage:

Follow-up on the arm…

I went to the hospital yesterday for a follow-up visit and xrays. After a near two hour wait (yay hospitals), the surgeon’s assistant came in and said that I would need to be in a cast for two more months. When I refused to accept this, she came back with the surgeon who checked my [...]

My first crash…

So it appears that I had my first “track incident”. Yesterday I did my first trackday of the year with NESBA at Pacific Raceways. I had this whole LJ entry composed in my head about how I started off a bit slow, but steadily improved throughout the day until I was flying through the laps [...]

Another rider from Seattle…

Dante’s Dame

I’m been looking for this link for ages, and finally found it in an old, forgotten email. The rider in question has done lots of interesting rides in the PNW and she’s got lots of neat pictures and writeups. Should be a good read.
